There is no "Print, Save or Preview This Year's Return" option. Maybe it disappears after you file you return?!!

@RobertB4444 I am SO frustrated with Turbo Tax right now, I've just discovered that it did not do my depreciation or business loss carry forwards at all for the last 2 YEARS! I'm so tired of basically having to input everything manually anymore. So much that TT should know from my previous tax files, yet it's always asking me to manually input my data from previous tax years! Arrgghh!!

In TurboTax Online, there is no "Save" button because the software saves your progress automatically every time you move to a new screen or click "Continue."
How to Sign Out Safely
Ensure you have clicked the "Continue" or "Next" button on the screen you are currently working on. This triggers the final save for that page.
Click on your name or the profile icon in the bottom-left or top-right corner and select Sign Out.
When you log back in using your User ID and Password, TurboTax will ask if you want to "Keep going where you left off," which will take you directly back to the last screen you visited.

This has been a known issue in the Mac desktop software, but many people have been able to use a simple workaround. Here are some things to try: First make sure the 2024 data file is not password-protected/encrypted in the keychain. Then close TurboTax completely. Then re-launch it, and try the transfer again. For some Mac users, that simple maneuver has solved it. Or Close TurboTax completely and restart your computer. Relaunch TurboTax and try the transfer again. Or Try to open the *.tax2024 data file with the 2025 program. It may say something like "This is not a 2025 data file, do you want to transfer instead?"

Hi, I could not find the Tax Tools option (usually in the upper left nav bar). And because of that, there is no "Download Gov and Turbotax worksheets" option that I could find for 2026. The download links only produce the shorter 24-page file. So, what happened to being able to download all the schedules and worksheets? Tax History Report used to be buried in there.

Code W on your W-2 is the HSA contributions. Based on what you've asked, there weren't any HSA contributions reported. Does your W-2 have a second page? If not, and you made HSA contributions via payroll and or your employer contributed to your HSA, you'll need to request a corrected W-2 (W-2C).
Code C is the taxable cost of group-term life insurance over $50,000. Code D is contributions to your 401(k) plan (including a simple 401(k) plan) and DD is cost of employer-sponsored health coverage.
You do not need to guess at what the codes mean. On the W-2 entry, enter each code separately. You can enter more than one line of data. After completing the first code, select (+) Add another box 12 item, and repeat until you have entered all the data from your W-2.

When an excess contribution is carried forward from a previous year, the IRS allows you to apply that amount as a current-year contribution to reduce the balance and stop the recurring 6% excise tax penalty. Even though the original $94 was from your employer, the tax law treats the carryover amount as a "personal" contribution in the year it is applied. By placing it on Line 2, TurboTax is attempting to apply that $94 toward your 2025 contribution limit. This allows you to "absorb" the excess if your total 2025 contributions remain below the annual legal maximum.
Since you have already submitted the form to remove the $94 this week, that removal happened in 2026. This means the excess was still in your account as of December 31, 2025, and TurboTax is correctly reporting it as still present for your 2025 filing.

This issue has never come up in all the years I've been using TurboTax. Using MacOS. It is a problem that should have been fixed by now.

I have similar question. I wonder why the tax people in the community didn't ever comment. I bet it got lost in the mix so this may push it forward again. People wouldn't want a Schedule 3 if it forces them to move up from free edition to Deluxe just for a couple of dollars.

Assuming you are referring to Flint, Michigan city taxes:
TurboTax will prepare Michigan city returns for the cities listed in this help article. All Michigan city returns, except Detroit, must be printed and mailed, even if your Michigan return is e-filed.
To print only your city return in TurboTax Online, access Tax Tools in the left menu, select Print Center, and choose "Print, save, or view this year's return". Select only the state/city forms for printing or download to PDF to get the forms without watermarks.
The first page in your printout package will be the File by Mail Instructions, which will provide the mailing address and what forms, if any, you need to include.
For the 2025 tax year (due April 30, 2026), mail your Flint city tax return and payment to the Flint Income Tax Department, PO Box 529, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827-0529. See here if you would like contact information for their office.
The City of Flint imposes a local income tax of 1% on residents and 0.5% on non-residents who work within the city limits. This tax applies to gross income, including deferred compensation and business net profits. Residents must pay this tax regardless of where they work.

I had this same issue for my kids that are in high school. The work around I found (in the desktop app) was to change their birthdate so that they are 19, then when going through the dependent workflow (did they live full time, etc) it will ask the question "are they a full time student". I selected "yes" and went forward a step to make sure it was saved. Then clicked back out to "You and Your Family" and changed the birthdate back to the original value. Then you should see them marked as "full-time student" on the 1040 form.
