Here's a problem. I checked to be notified when the update is available (for form # 3903???) and they'll let me know when it is available. The next day I get a notice it is now available for download, so I click on update now. I've done that about six times and keep going around in circles. Went here to see if there might be some other issue.
yes you can request a refund within 60 days of purchase and change tax s/w after decades, if you have an urgent need to input a 1099 rather than wait a few days
The Form 3903 reference is just a bug in the email signup to be notified of when the section is ready, but you don't really need the email, check the s/w update mid next week

Wait for a software update coming on January 21.
Not true, there are NO 1099-R forms available for the 2025 tax year.  Intuit says "maybe Jan 21st".  Nice try.

Since 2024 is somehow password-protected, the bad news is that no one can help you, not even support. You'll have to start 2025 as if 2024 didn't exist.  In the futire save a complete PDF of the return. That way, if problems occur, you can retrieve the info. It's also a good idea to save both the PDF and .tax2xxx to a thumb drive. Hard drives do crash, and TurboTax does not have copies of returns done on desktops.   if you use a password to sign into W11 you might try that.
