Hello!    I have entered all the expenses and income for my business but the business code is wrong.  It is putting me in the wrong business code and service type.     I have searched everywhere trying to figure out why there is no edit button under business code and all the answers I see online are not helping me.    How do I change the business code number to the correct one I want?  This is becoming very frustrating.

Please clarify your question with more details. Did you file either a Federal or State 2023 tax return? Did you use a TurboTax product? What forms do you need?

You are correct because TurboTax has a webpage https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-return/e-file-1040x-amend-return/L9tXL1Nuh_US_en_US  that states 2023, 2024, and 2025 (2025 1040-x can't be efiled as of now because the form i s not ready) amended returns can be e-filed. When taxpayers have issues, it seems support is clueless. Thus, they are unable to e-file. The page does warn that there may be certain situations where you can't e-file    It used to be that filers only had until the extended due date for that year to e-file an amended return. After that, TurboTax closed e-filing for that year. You'll note the date on the page as January 2026. So this is a recent change. Don't know what to tell you because maybe an update is needed, which may never come.

I received an email the form is ready, but it still says available soon on my return. I think there is still a glitch.
