@priscilla-cruz57 please be more specific. are these undergraduate or graduate expenses? how old are you? are you a dependent of your parents (or someone else)? you must have form 1098-T, issued by your college, to determine your Qualified Educational Expenses. Those expenses are only deductible against the scholarship income. Tuition is otherwise not deductible, but can be used as the basis of either the AOTC (up to $2500) or LLC tax credits (up to $2000).

First, confirm that your return was successfully filed. Did you file by efiling? If so, and if you used Online TurboTax, what is showing for the status of your efile at the Tax Home? Which of these terms is used--accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or what? If the status at the Tax Home says accepted, then you can use the IRS "Where's My Refund" refund tracker tool. https://www.irs.gov/refunds NOTE: If you mailed a paper return, it can take up to 4 weeks just to show up in that tool. When using that tool, be sure you are entering the correct tax year, correct filing status, SSN, and the refund amount shown on your Federal Form 1040, Line 35a. Look at your return to confirm the refund amount. Sometimes a TurboTax screen shows a confusing summary figure that is a net of the Federal and State together. Use only the Federal amount from Line 35a..

@jospiege Did you use any of these services that use a third-party intermediary bank to first receive the refund? Paid TurboTax product fees out of your Federal refund. Chose the "Up to 5 days early" offer. Had a Refund Advance. You can do an Internet search on the routing number and likely will come up with the bank name. Common third party banks offering those services to TurboTax are Green Dot Bank, Cross River Bank, and MVB Bank Inc. We can tell you more when we you report back with the additional information.

There's not enough information. You didn't say what actually happens (if anything) after you enter the license code. So all we know right now is that you are unable to activate. Does nothing at all happen? Is there a message, error code, etc.? Does it try to connect to the activation server, and the screen just has a spinning icon? Are you unable to log into your Intuit account when it asks you to?

The IRS does not normally use email for initial contact, so treat any email claiming to be from the IRS suspiciously and do not click on links. Phone the IRS independently using a known IRS phone number instead of one in an email which could be a scam. If the IRS is planning to send a letter to ask for more information, they may also put a notice at the refund lookup tool. Or if you have an IRS online account, you could look there to see if there's evidence they are sending you a letter. But here are some things you need to check: First, if you efiled, be sure your efiled return was accepted. If using Online TurboTax, you can check at the Tax Home page. If the Tax Home showed your return was accepted, you can track your Federal refund at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool. Is there any message there? https://www.irs.gov/refunds If you filed a paper return by mail, it can take up to 4 weeks just to show up in that tool. The IRS normally uses 3 stages: Return received and is being processed. Refund approved. Refund sent and an expected deposit date. If that tool shows your return is still being processed, then since it's been longer than the usual 21 days, you can either wait a while longer, or if you wish, you can phone the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay. IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday

New rules. You may now qualify for EIC even if you have no children or dependents. It depends on your income. Open the EIC form...Turbotax should calculate any EIC for you.

You might need to explain more. Are you referring to the 2024 AGI to verify your 2025 return? If so, are you just now getting ready to efile your return for the first time this year, or did you already efile and got a rejection notice about the 2024 AGI? If you got a rejection, what is the error code/message?

If you are talking about last years AGI for last year, for purposes of electronic filing.. You should see a place during the electronic filing process to indicate that you did not file last year, as you said you didn't. Therefore, you won't need to enter last years AGI...since you did not file last year.

We don't know your story. Does "revert back" mean you were using desktop TurboTax at first? You'll need to explain how you came to be in Online TurboTax. Was it through some special offer to switch? Do you already have the desktop software installed on your computer? Is your computer running Windows 11 or Mac OS Sonoma 14 or higher? In Online TurboTax see if this shortcut helps you to enter your gross sales: In the left menu column click on TAX TOOLS, then TOOLS. In the Tools center click on blue button TOPIC SEARCH. In the search line enter the term gross receipts without quotes. Make the selection in the list (may already be highlighted) and either double-click it or click GO. If it takes you to a business summary screen, click on REVIEW. On the next page, Epenses will be first. So scroll way down that page to the Income section. If you entered income previously, there is an edit pencil icon. There is also a button to "Add income for this work."
