I filed my taxes friday and it still has not been accepted my boyfriend filed his monday afternoon and it was accepted the next day
BTW, I'm retired so I only get 1099R forms, thus Intuit is blocking me from filing. I might as well go back to doing everything manually if they keep dragging their feet.

Paying your fees did not file your tax return.   You have to go all the way through the steps of the FILE section to click a big orange button that says "Transmit my returns now" in order to e-file.   Since it seems you did not do that, your return was not filed.   E-filing is now closed for 2024 returns.   Your 2024 return must be filed by mail.  Print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.   When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.   Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

It might be that not all the forms in your return have been finalized yet. If you have Draft forms in your return, you would not be allowed to print your return.   Use this link to reference when your tax forms will be available. You can search by TurboTax Product and for IRS and State-Specific Forms.

This is beginning to sound like politicians running this website. They talk around the issue either. We do get what we paid for or we don’t. We purchased a product we thought it was complete. We were told that it was going to be ready on a certain date. It was gonna be corrected on a certain date and that it was gonna be posted on a certain date and we still don’t have a working product and we have more excuses than we have product. thanks joe
If I am not mistaken today is January 21!!! This is BS Turbotax!!
Hi, can I ask where you heard this information? I'd like to get mine entered soon as well 🙂 Thanks!
Key word "claimed"
If you see my question as a complaint, your reading skills are no better than your people skills you troll.
I did my 2024 tax return on Turbo Tax, paid the fee and just received notice my taxes federal and state were not filed.

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:   Log Out Completely: Before doing anything else, click Sign Out in the TurboTax menu.    Clear Cache and Cookies: This removes old, "corrupted" data that might be confusing the website.   Use an Incognito (Private) Window: This is the most effective "quick fix" because it launches the browser without any saved history or extensions (like AdBlockers) that often interfere with tax forms.   Check Pop-up Blockers: TurboTax often opens forms (like the 1099 PDF) or payment windows in a separate pop-up. Look at the right side of your address bar for a small icon with a "red X"—click it and select "Always allow pop-ups from Intuit."   Restart the Browser: Close all open windows of your browser entirely and then reopen it.   Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.

I don't think there's much you can do in this scenario. If it were part of the sales transaction, then you wouldn't be receiving a 1099 for 2026.    If you do receive a 1099-MISC, you're not going ... See more...

The date I signed it and the date I asked for the money to be withdrawn was more than 5 days.  After I got the amended return to download, the TurboTax form says I can only pick a date in 2025.   What do I do?   Also, can I send the amended return with correct withdrawal date (once you tell me how) by e-file?
