Use Schedule C to report self-employment income and expense.     There are three steps:    Establish the self-employment activity, Report gross income received, and Report ordinary and necessary business expenses. In TurboTax Online Premium, follow these directions.    Down the left side of the screen, click Federal. Down the left side of the screen, click Wages & Income. Click on the drop down arrow to the right of Self-employment. Click to the right of Self-employment income and expenses. Establish the self-employment activity and report the income and expense. Within the self-employment activity, add the income to be reported by following these steps:    At the screen Here's your info, select Add income for this work. Report the self-employment income. Within the self-employment activity, add business expenses by following these steps:   At the screen Here's your info, select Add expenses for this work. Report the self-employment expenses. Certify in TurboTax Online/Mobile that you don’t have a 1095-A form Follow the instructions below: Open or continue your return. In the left menu, select Federal. Select Deductions and credits summary under Deductions & Credits. Scroll down and select Medical. Next to Health Insurance Marketplace (Form 1095-A) section, select Start/Revisit. Do you need to report any 1095-As? screen. You'll be asked if you received a 1095-A. Select No. Refer to the TurboTax article How do I fix e-file reject F8962-070? for instructions to fix your return if it’s rejected because the IRS is looking for a 1095-A.   Also, check to see if Forms 1095-A and 8962 are included in your return. To delete the forms, follow the steps below:   Launch  TurboTax Select Tax Tools in the menu on the left Select Tools Select Delete a Form in the pop-up window Scroll down until you see Form 1095-A and delete If you see Form 8962, delete that form also Return to your tax return and review.   Refer to the TurboTax article How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online?

If you need to download all your prior-year tax documents, from all products, follow these steps: Log into your Intuit Account here. Select Documents from the side menu (see below) On the next screen, if you have 2 tabs for both Business and Personal, select Personal You'll see all your tax documents, including prior-year wage statements, that are available.   If you're using TurboTax Online, you can follow these FAQ steps: "If you've started your return already Sign in to your TurboTax account. Make sure you're using the same TurboTax account (same user ID) as in previous years. There are two ways to get your prior-year returns: Select Documents from the menu, use the dropdown menu to choose the tax year you want, and select Download tax PDF. On Tax home, scroll down and select Your tax returns & documents. Select the year you want and select Download/print return (PDF). If the year you're looking for isn't there, it might be in a different account. Go here to find all of your accounts. One of them should have the return you're looking for."

UPDATE for those who were waiting to see if this would be addressed: As of 4/14/2026, the verbiage on the TurboTax Easy Extension submission page has been changed so that it no longer indicates you are filing your actual return.  I clicked "submit" and received the usual (based on past years) confirmation that my extension has been filed.

You should enter your Form W-2 as it is shown. If you have HSA contributions that are not reported on Form W-2 you can enter them using the steps listed below.   Click on Search at the top right of your TurboTax screen Type HSA in the search box Click on the link that says Jump to HSA Follow your TurboTax screens until you see the screen that says Let's enter your HSA Contributions In the box that says Contributions that XXX made (not through your employer) enter the amount of your personal HSA contributions This should properly record your HSA contributions that were not reported on Form W-2.  Answer all follow-up screens. I'm having the same problem.  Email has a link to "fix" but there is nothing I can do on the app.  I tried logging on via my laptop and still can't click on anything to "fix" my return.  There is no option under TAX HOME which is where the AI chatbot tells me to go to fix a return.  So all I can do is see that my federal return has been rejected on both the website and the app but have NO OPTIONS or links as how to actually fix.

Follow the steps below to print your prior-year tax return using TurboTax Online.   Sign in to your account Select the down arrow by Your tax returns and documents  Select the year of the tax return that you want to print Select Download/Print (PDF) your federal and/or state tax return(s) Select Include government and TurboTax worksheets (this will include your depreciation worksheets).
