Hey Doug,   This still isn't fixed in TurboTax. I have a similar situation going on now for 2025 using Home & Business. I've been on a marketplace plan for a few years and I was also self-employed. I got married last year and my spouse has health insurance that disqualified me from the self-employed health insurance deduction mid-year. I received a 1095A but did not take or qualify for any APTC for the whole year. So that wasn't my issue. But once I check the box that I was on a marketplace plan, it automatically transfers the totals to my self-employed health insurance deduction and won't let me fill out form 7206. The amounts are inaccurate as well since they don't include my dental insurance which also qualifies for deduction the months before I got married. When I ran it with the box checked that I received a 1095A, it did not include an 8962, but it deducted my SEHI for the full year when I only qualified for 6 months. So I ran it again and just didn't check the box for the 1095A then it let me fill out my 7206 for the months that I was qualified. Hoping it goes through since there was no 8962 with my return either way.   Your post was the first I found with a similar situation to mine not being able to modify this area. I updated the post hoping TT will start listening if enough people complain and fix this huge problem in their software.
Can you please provide more information and clarify your question.

My Turbotax 2025 Home and Business on a Mac is not fully importing data from my .tax2024 file. What I see in TurboTax 2025 is just my basic info and some depreciation; I made a profit in 2024 but it shows a net loss. Also expenses from 2024 are gone. This has never happened before in years past when I've used TurboTax. Is there a software update in process? Please advise.    P.S.... The drop down below for Platform needs an option for Mac; I had to choose "I Don't Know".   In the product drop down menu, there's no "Home and Business" option. Lord, who's running this company?

I'll assume you are preparing a USA tax return, since you are in the USA TurboTax forum.  If you are needing to prepare a Canadian return, you are in the wrong place.   Canada TurboTax is a different site and different online program.   So assuming you are preparing a USA return, whenever there are address fields, one of the first fields asks you to choose the "type" of address.   When you choose "foreign or US territory", then the boxes will reformat, and you will see a place to enter your country and the international postal code, including letters.   If Canada was your resident "state" for 2025, then on a different screen where it asks what state you lived in on December 31, 2025; i.e., your resident state, in the dropdown menu when you scroll way down past Wyoming you will see "Foreign or US territory".

The software absolutely can and does change information; it changed mine and my husband's information this year. For the last thirteen years, we have filed Married filing jointly, and before we submitted our return, it asked for both of our driver's license information. Before this happened, it had removed my adult disabled daughter from our return, and I had to go and add her back to my return. So my return was supposed to arrive by March 16 but now they have notified it may be up to 16 weeks before they finish processing my return. I don't think I will ever trust the software again, especially knowing that when I spoke with someone, there was zero accountability regarding it removing my husband and making me Head of Household! Funny enough, it removed him but left his W2 intact; this year's filing has been nothing short of a nightmare. I am beyond furious!

Not sure if this helps, since I use the desktop version, not the online version, but at the top are 5 dropdown headings (File, Edit, View, Tools, Online, Help).  Clicking on/Hovering over the "View" heading causes it to drop down a list you can choose from - Step-by-Step, Forms, Zoom.  Pick "Forms" and you can see all the forms TurboTax has filled out, both the TurboTax worksheets as well as the formal forms that will be submitted when you file.  For me, at least, the 1040 form is the second one on the list on the right.  Again, at least for the desktop version, be aware that any changes you make to the forms changes what TurboTax sees/shows in the regular step-by-step interface, so be careful.  You can change back to the regular step-by-step interface by selecting Step-by-Step from the "View" drop down.
To enter a Canadian postal code in TurboTax, you must select the Foreign or US territory option for the address type. This changes the input fields to allow for Canadian provinces and postal codes.

First, if you efiled, be sure your efiled return was accepted.   If using Online TurboTax, you can check at the Tax Home page.   Does it show as accepted, rejected, printed, started, ready to mail, or something else?   If that showed your return was accepted for processing, you can track your Federal refund at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool: https://www.irs.gov/refunds   The IRS normally uses 3 stages: Return received and is being processed. Refund approved. Refund sent and an expected deposit date.   If that tool shows your refund is still being processed, then since it's been longer than the usual 21 days, you can phone the IRS to see if they can tell you anything about the delay.   IRS: 800-829-1040 (7AM-7 PM local time) Monday-Friday

It only counts as overtime pay if it was for work in excess of  40 hours per week.  Only the overtime premium (the "half" part of "time-and-a half") is deductible.  A hazard pay premium paid on overtime hours would not be deductible, unless the hazard premium was paid at time and a half (or double time).

I have the opposite question, where can I enter my traditional IRA? Where you said it says "traditional SEP", and I thought that was the place, but if that's only for SEP contribs then I can't find the right place to enter traditional IRA. Thanks!
Awesome, thanks!   That said, would you know offhand where to enter my traditional IRA? The help sent me back to the same place.
