Did you choose to efile? If so, what is showing for the status at the Tax Home of your online TurboTax? Does it say accepted, rejected, printed, started, or what? Or did you plan to file by printing and mailing instead? If you chose the "file by mail" method, TurboTax does not mail it for you. If you efiled, and it was accepted, it should show up in the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool approximately 24 hours after it was accepted. If you mailed a paper return, it takes about 4 weeks just to show up in that tool. https://www.irs.gov/refunds If that tool is not finding your information, then be sure you enter the correct tax year, the correct filing status, SSN, and the Federal refund amount from your Federal Form 1040, Line 35a. Look at your actual return to get the amount.

If you can find my earlier response in this thread with the pic of the form and the missing data that needs to be manually entered. That might be the solution to your problem.

What product are you using--Online TurboTax or desktop TurboTax? We can tell you how to preview the Form 1040 for free, where you can see Line 13b for the enhanced senior deduction you are receiving. If you are using the desktop version, you can view the Form 1040 and also view the Schedule 1-A where the enhanced senior deduction is calculated. If you are using online TurboTax, we can tell you how to preview your Form 1040, including Line 13b for free. But to view the Schedule 1-A you'd have to go ahead and pay your TurboTax fees. Once fees are paid you can have full printing/viewing privileges of all the forms in your return.

What is displayed at the Tax Home--accepted, rejected, printed, started, or what? If accepted, what is showing for the Federal refund at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool? https://www.irs.gov/refunds If you filed a state return, and if the efile was accepted, or if you mailed the state return, you can find your state's lookup tool here: FAQ: How do I track my state refund? https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-refund/track-state-refund/L3jgO8PGs_..

The $12,000 deduction is not a credit. It just lowers your taxable income.

The two tax systems are entirely independent so refund times depend upon their staffing, policies and often what credits and other information is reported.

TurboTax entry on Minnesota state form was full year resident. Should this be changed?

I have a 1099R with 200,000 in box 1, and 50,000 in box 2a (obviously fake numbers). In the 1099R Summary form, lines 25 and 25a seem correct. They show 200,000 and 150,000 respectively. I rolled over 150,000 of the 200,000, and the remaining 50,000 is taxable. However, lines 26a and 26b seem incorrect to me. 26a shows 50,000, but 26b is 100,000. It seems to have subtracted the 50,000 taxable amount from the amount rolled over. 32a and 32d both show $0, which also doesn't seem correct. Is it possible that lines 26a and 26b are not calculated correctly?

@amy 815PM Mar 6 - still no update, problem still persists. Spoke with a TurboTax support rep who was extremely nice and tried very hard to help. But they gave a lot of incorrect and misleading info: 1) blamed the version of the computer OS (!), 2) blamed a mismatch in the name/middle name on the Federal info with what was on the 1099-Q (there wasn't one), 3) tried to say one could upload a PDF of the 1099-Q rather than direct entry (you can't), and so on. Overall, over an hour on the phone (again). They did, however, get confirmation finally from their backend support that this really is a Turbo Tax bug and not a State of Oregon issue. Like others have said, they were not able to offer a timeline for the fix. She gave me refund in excess of what I was asking for the grief. I'm probably going to file this return by mail. I suggest every single person experiencing this problem do what I just did and demand a partial refund as well. I remain appalled at how bad this has been.

So glad to find this thread. This happened to me too. At every turn, Turbo Tax tried to upsell me from DIY to Expert Assist. I kept declining, but somehow when I paid, I was charged for Expert Assist. I noticed this *before* I filed, called customer service and was given a link to request a refund for the extra amount charged beyond the DIY price. Despite *never* using Expert Assist and requesting a refund before filing my taxes, Turbo Tax denied my refund claiming I'd used the Expert Assist service. 🙄 There seems to be no recourse: no one to call or file a complaint to. I've been a loyal Turbo Tax customer for over a decade. But like others on this thread, I will no longer be using Turbo Tax in the future.

1. I am the trustee of my uncle's (passed away). 2. His trust owns a percent ownership of a shopping mall (mall) 3. The mall management co. (mgtco) sent me a K-1 (K-1 Mall) to use for the Trust's taxes. 4. I then received a K-1 for the beneficiaries (K-1 Benef) 5. Question: Do I need to send all beneficiaries BOTH K-1s or only the K-1 Benef? First time with K-1s and it's so confusing (at least to me). Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me! Best Regards.
