If you’re not receiving TurboTax’s verification code emails, try these fixes, in order:   1) Check email issues, search your inbox for “Intuit” and “security code.” Also, check Spam. Add do_not_reply@intuit.com and notifications@intuit.com to contacts or your allowed list. If you use a custom domain, allow these IPs/domains with your provider: intuit.com, notification.intuit.com, elasticemail.com.   2) On the TurboTax sign-in screen, use “I forgot my User ID/Password” to see which email(s) are linked and make sure it is the right email. If you have multiple Intuit accounts, try the alternate email or mobile number on file.   3) Choose “Text me a code” or “Call me with a code” if your phone is listed. If offered, use an authenticator app code (from when you set up 2-step verification). If prompted, use backup codes you may have saved when enabling 2-step verification.   4) Click “Didn’t get a code? Resend” and wait 2–3 minutes between attempts. Don’t request multiple codes rapidly; only the latest code works. Keep the sign-in window open; switching devices/browsers can invalidate codes.   5) Use an incognito/private window, or a different browser. Disable ad/script blockers for intuit.com; clear cache/cookies. Ensure your system time/timezone is correct; out-of-sync clocks can fail verification.   6) Go to accounts.intuit.com -> Sign in & security -> 2-step verification and verify or update your contact options once you can get in. If still locked out of codes, use the account recovery flow at accounts.intuit.com -> “I forgot my user ID or password” -> “Confirm my account a different way,” and follow the prompts.
There are 2 types of dependencies. Your description is for a qualifying child. The $5,200 refers to a qualifying relative.

The figure comes from the IRS Publication #501 Dependents as a test to be a qualifying relative (vs a qualifying child):  The person’s gross income for the year must be less than $5,200 CAUTION! If your gross income was $5,200 or more, you usually can’t be claimed as a dependent unless you are a qualifying child. TurboTax is programmed to follow the IRS guidelines for dependents, both qualifying relatives and qualifying children.   Is there a more specific tax return problem you're having that we can help with?
Is there an estimated date it will be available? It's very inconvenient to have to log in regularly to check, instead of having a way to be notified when it will be available.

The past taxes are not calculated when completing the current year return.  If you owe back taxes and/or on a payment plan, the IRS will apply this year's refund to that.  The IRS will also apply any state tax refund.  The IRS will automatically apply any tax refund to an existing payment plan balance, reducing the total debt. You must continue making regular monthly payments unless the refund pays off the balance in full- the offset does not replace scheduled payments.  See Refund inquiries | Internal Revenue Service.   If the offset will result in economic hardship, see How to Prevent a Refund Offset If You Are Experiencing Economic Hardship.
Was your original return efiled and accepted?  Is the other person's return rejecting or did their's go though?

I keep getting error: "Schedule M1W 1: Line 2-MN Tax withheld must be entered.   On my 1099-R:  401k Rollover to Traditional IRA; The taxable amount is zero. In Box 4, Federal income tax withheld is blank, and Box 14 state tax withheld is blank.    I keep getting the above error, no matter if I enter zero into those fields in my federal forms for the 1099-R or leave them blank as is.    I am unable to enter any amounts into the fields in the "Check this entry" screen either.
How do I access my 2024 H&R Block informaion & import it into my 2025 TurboTax form?
