How does TurboTax Premier desktop mark the NO box in Arizona Form 348 line 1b?  Form 348 is Credit for Contributions to Certified School Tuition ORganizations - Individuals.  I do have carryover contributions from 2022 and 2023 on this form.  On form 323, Credit for Contributions to Private School Tuition Organizations, I have a carryover from 2023.  I have no contributions in 2025. I have $0 in AZ form 323 Part 4 line 25 so that should trigger an automatic NO on AZ form 348 line 1b.   But the system is leaving it blank.  Is there a correction to the software,or a means to override and place the check myself?

Has anyone had issues importing Robinhood data to TT?  I get to the point where TT tells me they have the data on the website, but it does not arrive in TT and says there is some kind of internet issues. I've tried it multiple times and can't seem to get it to work.

Same! I absolutely HATE TurboTax. It gets worse with every year and I dread filing taxes. They and the rest are disgusting example as to why bribing, I’m sorry, “lobbying” our politicians should be illegal. The only reason this ridiculous company exists is because they bribe politicians to keep them relevant. Every other developed country simply sends tax returns to their citizens. On top of all of it, by the time I’m done filing, I owe pretty much all of it to this stupid company. I generally have to pay, with nothing in return, just for the privilege of filing taxes. This company and the rest need to stop existing.

Yes, I did find a number to call and talked with a representative for quite a while but did not solve the underlying problem.  I think I have detected a security problem that needs resolving.  All Intuit Turbo Tax email to my registered email address never arrives.  I have, as asked, verified that the intuit.com address in in my Safe List for receiving email but it is not arriving.  I can get in with my login in "name" but not with my email address since no verification code is ever received.  I will enter this as a new question.

Dear Karis_F,   Brilliant!   Yes, I also did a nearly similar "work-around" without the need to request a revised W-2c.    I simply indicated that the W-2 that was auto-imported from the Federal Return was "Not NC Source Income" (in the status pop-up.) Then, I manually entered another line (which was "Blank") and indicated its status as "NC Resident Income". This sticks during state, federal, and final review.    Finally, I printed out all returns and confirmed the PY incomes are correct. For example, for the NC D-400 Schedule PN, Line 1 Column A correctly shows total income from all sources. Then, Line 1 Column B now correctly shows the PY NC State allocation. The final state tax calculation is correct.   For *everyone* who replied to my request for help: Thank you! I sincerely appreciate the help and (at last!) a resolution.   Thank you, thank you   -Mike

This forum does not have access to your return. lines 1, 2, 3, and maybe 11 flow to Schedule 1. Other lines flow to their respective schedules. However, if the k-1 is reporting passive income and there are passive losses elsewhere in your return, there would be a netting so the income would not be taxable. Review form 8582

If you received a "Success" message but your data hasn't appeared in TurboTax, it is likely due to recent browser security updates regarding Local Network Access.   To fix this you need to allow TurboTax to securely retrieve your data through your browser settings: Locate the View Site Information icon (the "tune" or "lock" icon) on the far left of your address bar, just before the URL. Find Local Network Access in the dropdown menu. Toggle the switch to ON. Refresh the page and attempt your import again. What do I do when my data isn't imported into TurboTax Desktop even though it says successful import in my browser? If permissions aren't the issue, one of the following factors may be at play: Brokerage Delays: While most forms arrive by January 31, many brokerages delay Consolidated 1099s (like the 1099-B) until mid-February due to complex reporting requirements. Availability: Your brokerage must specifically "release" the import file to TurboTax. If it isn’t ready, we recommend checking back. Connection Blocks: Active VPNs or aggressive Anti-Virus software can occasionally block the import feature between your bank and TurboTax. Try disabling them temporarily or switching to a different browser. Helpful TurboTax Articles: What if I can't import my 1099? How can I fix my 1099 import issue? How do I import my 1099s? If you are seeing your income "dumped" into the 4th quarter, try these steps to reset the state.   1. The "Annualized Income" Reset:   Go to the State Taxes section and find the Underpayment Penalty interview (usually under "Other Forms" or "Sensory/Penalties" at the end of the NY interview).  Choose to Annualize your income. Even if you don't want to use this method, it forces the software to open the quarterly data fields.  Check if the boxes for Q1, Q2, and Q3 are blank or zero. If they are, TurboTax is mathematically "forcing" all income into Q4 to balance the year-end total. 2. Delete and Re-add Form IT-2105.9 (Desktop Version Recommended):   If you are on the Desktop (CD/Download) version, switch to Forms Mode. Find IT-2105.9 and IT-2105.9 Worksheet in the left-hand sidebar. Delete both. This clears the "4Q dump"  Go back to the Step-by-Step interview and let the software regenerate the form from scratch based on your actual 2025 W-2s and 1099s.   3.The "Let the State Figure It Out" Option If the software remains stuck and won't distribute the income correctly, you have a procedural "out" provided by NY State: In the Underpayment Penalty interview, look for the option that says, "I want the State to calculate my penalty and send me a bill." Selecting this prevents TurboTax from filing a potentially incorrect IT-2105.9. NYS will look at your actual filing dates and income, calculate the penalty (if any), and send you a notice. This is often safer than filing a form that claims $0 when the state knows you underpaid.

It sounds like either way the correct totals will be reported on the tax forms.  I would stick with the step 7 yes selection simply because I know it works and it's how I've done it.  But the 'Other' category gets the amounts on there so they can be taxed as well.  They sound good either way.
