If box 14 is empty or blank, then leave boxes 14, 15 & 16 all empty.    But if there is an amount in Box 14, you will need to enter the an amount in box 16 so the withholding amounts correctly flow to your state return(s).   Use Box 2a for the box 16 amount.   If 2a is not populated, use the amount in Box 1.  @mmeggs

If you're using TurboTax Online, in the left-side menu, go to Tax Tools > Tools, then 'View Tax Summary' in the pop-up window.  Back at the left-side menu, choose 'Preview My 1040'.   Scrolling through your 1040, look for an amount on Line 13b. If there is an amount there, it's probably from the Schedule 1-A, Part V, Enhanced Deduction for Seniors, since this is the only deduction you would have on that form.  You won't see Schedule 1-A in this view.    If there is no amount on Line 13b of Form 1040, I would suggest you clear your Cache and Cookies and make sure your entries for your age are correct in the MY INFO section.  TurboTax applies the deduction automatically.   If you're using TurboTax Desktop, in FORMS, click on 'Open Form' at the upper left and type 'Schedule 1-A' in the search area.  You can then view the form and calculations used to figure your actual deduction on Form 1040, Line 13b.     @skijohn877

If you click on Edit for the 1099-SA, you can enter the first form in completely and then once it is finished, you will get to a screen title "1099-SA Summary".  This will show your name and the Box 1 Gross distribution amount.  You can click on the blue + Add button below your name to add a 2nd 1099-SA form to your return.  Once you are done entering that 1099-SA, the 1099-SA Summary should have both your 1099-SA forms listed.

I opted to have state and federal taxes taken out of my weekly medical leave payments and, without an option to enter any taxes already paid on the 1099-MISC income, following these instructions would have added the total amount of my medical leave to my taxable income without accounting for taxes already paid. Going through the 1099-G menu is a little confusing, but it does allow for a 1099-MISC to be filed with the option to enter any state or federal taxes already deducted. In my case, this increased my eventual return  by ~1k compared to filing via the 'Less Common Income' route outlined here.     Obviously everyones situation is different, just thought id share what my experience ended up being.
I attempted multiple "place holder" numbers but it never redirects me to use my email to authenticate. It will just say "access denied" after attempting.
No they don't.

It looks like they are being flagged for duplicates due to having the same mortgage origination date.  I recreated the situation and got the same thing.  I tried indicating the second two were refi loans, that didn't help.  The I changed the mortgage origination date on the second two to 05/03/2025 and 05/04/2025.  That worked.  I recommend you change two of the three mortgage origination dates.  It won't cause any problems with tax return.  That date is not reported to the IRS, but used by the program in calculations in certain situations.

Hopefully this reply helps others. I kept getting the same message several times.    I then noticed that the address at the end does not match my drivers license. I changed my address and it fully processed it through.  I'm not saying this is the situation for most on here, but it's worth a look. My guess is the bank looks at your address listed vs your drivers license and if it doesn't match it won't process it.

Thank you. That would be perfect except there's a LOT of complex data already entered. The problem was from something pretty careless & dumb - I changed a single figure [Capital and other gains (losses)…specifically Line 17 on Form 4797 - Sales of Business Property] to try to get an estimate for my 2025 tax payments, & then used the changed return for my transfer-duh!?!? I don't think it'll mess up the accuracy of my 2025 return but it does screw up a lot of TT comparisons for my personal use. If I could just change that one transferred figure back somehow???...oh, well. Thanks again. 🙂 Shawn

This is the first year I used TurboTax online, previous years I used the desktop version. My return has been rejected because something doesn't match what I filed in 2024.
