I have been using Turbotax and have imported Schwab 1099 for years. I am trying to import it this time but after a "successful import", turbotax gives a message that the import failed. On Schwab, I see Intuit in third party apps with permissions correctly. My 1099s are generated and I have an offline copy as well. Any idea how to resolve this issue.

I've purchased Turbotax Business 2025 on Amazon. I have an activation key. The amazon instructions say, 1. Go to turbotax.com 2. Select the product you purchased to begin your download I've done step 1. I've logged in and have searched the site for 20 minutes and can find no place to select and download the product. I've been downloading turbotax since 2010 and have never had this problem before. How do I get to a page to download?

TurboTax automatically calculates the additional senior deduction based on your date of birth and income. If you qualify, the deduction will appear on your Form 1040 on line 13b. You can see the calculation on Schedule 1-A, Part V, line 37. No additional action is required on your part.
Taxpayers aged 65 or older may qualify for an additional deduction of $6,000 ($12,000 for those filing Married Filing Jointly). To be eligible, you must meet all of the following criteria:
Be 65 or older by December 31, 2025
File as Married Filing Jointly (MFJ)if you are married
Have a Modified Adjusted Gross Income under $75,000 ($150,000 for MFJ). The deduction phases out for taxpayers with higher incomes.

I can check the veteran box to get $6,000 exemption, or uncheck to get zero, but there is no option for the new (in 2025) $3,000 NJ exemption for widows of veterans. AI Help was useless.

This is a real crock of crap. When I try to work on assets and depreciation it tells me that part is not ready yet. But prices go up March 1???? Think I need to find new tax preparation software.

You didn't say which IRS instructions or formulas you are using. There are 7 different methods that can be used to calculate the tax on Form 1040 or 1040-SR line 16, depending on what types of income you have and other things in your tax return. The conditions for determining which of the 7 methods to use are explained starting on page 36 of the 2025 IRS Instructions for Form 1040 and 1040-SR.
If you used the Tax Computation Worksheet on page 80 of the IRS instructions, there is probably something in your tax return that requires using one of the other methods. The most common reason that you cannot use the Tax Computation Worksheet is that your income includes qualified dividends or long-term capital gains, which are taxed at lower rates. In that case you probably have to use the Qualified Dividends and Capital Gain Tax Worksheet, or possibly the Schedule D Tax Worksheet.
If you are using the desktop TurboTax software you can see which method TurboTax used by looking at the 7 checkboxes in the Tax Smart Worksheet in forms mode. The Tax Smart Worksheet is between lines 15 and 16 in the first section of the "Form 1040 or Form 1040-SR Worksheet."

Another option is to delete the 1099-SA form and then enter again. To delete a form in TurboTax Online follow the instructions below:
Open TurboTax and your return
Select Tax Tools from the menu on the left side
Select Tools
In the pop-up window select Delete a form
Find Form 1099-SA and select Delete.

@ chasetuller2004 Currently the amending process is showing to become available on February 25-26. In the meantime do not make any changes in your return. It has to start off exactly as it was when filed. You should wait on any Federal refund to arrive (if applicable) before amending. If you amend the Federal return, you may also have to amend the state return (if applicable.)

Where to start... account messed up for over 2 years now, and TT can't seem to fix. No longer can use the TT advantage. The system says my CC is invalid, but it is the one I used to purchase this year's program and audit defense. The chatbot is as worthless as the phonebot. They have wasted hours of my time. Agents and tech support have not resolved the issue of being unable to access my Advantage account, while I can log in to my Intuit account. As for the programs this year, no uploads or integrations worked. Some of the instructions were just wrong. My return is then rejected due to an unknown error in the new PIN system. The directions to fix this were lacking! So, I have sold my Intuit stock and am moving on. AI will take this over anyway. Imagine the future: a few interview questions, access to accurate information, and, in minutes, your taxes are done correctly. SELL now!

If you want to have viewing/printing privileges of all the forms in your return, you would have to pay for your online product in advance. Then you can download/view/print a PDF or specific form at any time you wish. But you can't make direct entries on forms like you can in desktop TurboTax. If you want to do that, we can tell you how. Paying in advance also locks in the price. Prices typically increase on March 1. However, be aware that if you pay in advance, you won't be able to clear your return and start it over. You can still edit it, but you can't start from scratch.

I also had the I7Q6 QMID that originally had the error and my return was rejected on the web version. But mine was fixed on the 8 or 9 and return was accepted pretty quickly after.
