I know it's basically the same thing as 1040 just larger text. However you don't get the senior bonus if you don't use 1040-SR. So how do I access the senior form?

Thanks for sharing. I spent most of the day trying to figure out how to get out of the “Improvements or replacements installed for enabling property” when I had previously marked “no” for “Did you install improvements or replacements for enabling property?” When I scrolled through the form in fix status, the line where it asks, Did you install improvements was not checked either for yes or no.  There was no way to fix it by checking “no” at this stage. Adding zeros to the value, deleting the form, clearing cache, and using a different device did not work. I was then thinking it was a bug issue and started looking here for answers. I have not filed yet due to clearly showing that TT was not populating the answers correctly to the form. At least TT should put a notice up that there is an issue and is in process to fix instead of everyone spending hours on this issue or getting their returned rejected. Sadly, the early file discount will expire before it is fixed.

Yes, your home office can be considered your principal place of business, allowing you to deduct the mileage driven for work. However, this is only allowed if the space is used exclusively for business-related activities. Crucially, the office must be solely dedicated to work and can't be used for any mixed or personal purposes.   @MrBovey
I've tried skipping box 14 and it keeps saying that I need to review

Form 1040X is available in TurboTax Online and Desktop. If you're over age 65 and claim the enhanced senior deduction on your tax return, you can enter your changes, but please wait to file your amended return. If your software is up-to-date, follow the TurboTax FAQ instructions below: If you want to change or correct some info on a tax return after it's been accepted, you may need to amend your return.   To amend your federal tax return in TurboTax Online, go to Tax Home, scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and select the year you want to amend.   Select the Amend (change) return dropdown, then Amend using TurboTax Online.   Continue through the screens, make the changes you need to make, and carefully answer the remaining questions to finish amending your return.   To amend your federal tax return in TurboTax Desktop, you must use the software for the year you're amending. For example, you must amend your 2025 return in the 2025 version of TurboTax.   Open TurboTax Desktop, then select Amend a return after it was filed and accepted by the IRS.   On the Did you already file your return? screen, select Yes, then the applicable option under Tell us a little more about your amend situation.   On the What do you need to change on your return? screen, select Update next to the info you need to change.   Continue through the screens, make the changes you need to make, and carefully answer the remaining questions to finish amending your return.   If you're still unable to amend, to troubleshoot your software:    First, begin logging out of the TurboTax platform you're using, Online or Desktop. If you are using TurboTax Online Check ‌your browser's settings. (Clear your Cache and Cookies) Here are the official instructions for the most popular browsers: Google Chrome Mozilla Firefox Microsoft Edge  Or, Try using a different web browser to login and complete your entries.  If you are using TurboTax Desktop Make sure the software is updated.  If you haven't rebooted your computer, please do. Check your firewall and antivirus settings. Make sure they aren't blocking any feature of the software.  ** If you are using the phone/tablet app, try changing to laptop/computer if possible. If you do not have access to a computer, switch to a web browser within your phone or tablet, and sign in from there.  **You might also want to uninstall and reinstall your desktop product (this has worked for some users). Make sure that you save the file and do a back up of your information (you do not want to lose any information). See: How do I back up my tax file in the TurboTax Desktop software?   Note: The IRS has added the current year version of the form online, but they have not yet added the 2025 instructions.  Learn more: TurboTax Help - How do I amend my federal tax return for this year?

Yes, the programming on the depreciation section was completed with an update the evening of Thursday, February 19th and users were reporting it active on February 20th.   See this help article for instructions to manually update TurboTax for Windows if needed.   In Desktop versions, updates normally run automatically when you reopen the program. To initiate an update in Desktop, choose Online at the top menu and then Check for Updates. This has been an especially challenging season, due to late tax law and policy changes and losses in IRS staffing, which delayed getting all of the forms and instructions ready to deliver to software companies. IRS just issued guidance on additional first year depreciation in mid-January.
