No, you don't have a way to represent this difference in TurboTax, so don't try to go back and change anything. You will be sent a 1099-SA for this amount sometime between now and early 2027 - really. The reason is that the interest on the excess amount is charged to your 2026 return, which, as you may surmise, is done in early 2027.
What was the explanation for the about $17 difference? Was this the amount of interest that the HSA custodian calculated that your $3.1k excess contribution earned while it was in the HSA?
If so, I would have expected that the interest would be added to your distribution, not retained in your HSA. Please contact the HSA custodian and ask them for an explanation.

Have you ever considered using IRS Direct Pay or paying electronically using the website? You can print a record immediately after submitting, so you have proof, and it never gets lost in the mail. You don't submit the ES forms. You can also schedule all 4 estimates at one time.
https://www.irs.gov/payments
if you gave state estimates, they offer ways to pay electronically.

The person who gave you the gift (the donor) should report it to the IRS on Form 709. You do NOT need to report the gift on your return or elsewhere. Form 709 is not supported by TurboTax.

Any update on this? I’m in IL but I also noticed a cross river account on my form. I never elected for anything 5 days early. I wonder how much fees they are going to take.

In June, I started using a Property Management LLC to handle 2 residential properties that are in an Irrevocable Trust. These properties are for investment only. The Property Mgmt company provided a W-9 stating they are a LLC with tax classification, S. They are now telling me I am late providing them a 1099-NEC and that they need one for each property. Everything I am finding is stating otherwise, HELP!

It can be easy to click on one of the options that are available and unintentionally upgrade your TurboTax product. It is also easy to roll back an upgrade that you got unintentionally - unless you've already paid for it.
In order to undo this you'll have to contact TurboTax support and let them know that you added the expert help unintentionally and did not make use of it.

I am 66 and I contributed $8k to my Roth IRA; my spouse is 65 and contributed $8k to her traditional (rollover) IRA. We both had income that meets thresholds. Tax year 2025. What is going on?

My husband and I both contributed 8000 to Traditional IRAs and converted both ( mine is a spousal IRA which I've never done before due to loss of job). However, for each of us there was a balance in Trad IRA at end 2024 because there was residual interest. There are 2 problems: 1. My interest is correctly being taxed. My husband's is not. (not a major issue) 2. Primary issue: Our 8606s are different and should not be. I am concerned this will affect us in the future because TT seems to think there was a balance (basis) left for my husband (not correct) but for me there is not one (correct). I will contrast our 8606s for 2025 v. 2024 to show the discrepancy. Amounts should be the same for both years. Our 2015 8606s look different (mine vs. husbands) 8606 line 1, 2025 contributions, show 0 for me (but it should be 8000) and 8000 for spouse. 8606 line 2, total basis shows 8000 for me (which seems incorrect) but for my husband's shows 8000, which is incorrect because we have always converted to Roth. 8606 line 5, shows 8 K for me (which is correct) ,16K for husband (which is not correct). It seems to think we had 8K not converted from previous years (not true) For 2024 8606, we show correct numbers for each of us: Line 1 8000 contribution Line 2 Zero basis I need for the 2025 calculation to work the same as for 2024. Please advise on what I have done incorrectly in TT.

If I receive a cash gift in excess of 19k, do I report it or the person who gave the money reports it? If it is me, which turbo tax level should I buy?
