A. No
Michigan will give you credit for that on the MI state return, but you have to attach a copy of the IN return, to show you paid it.

"Does IRS consider this as a good reason for me to postpone my first RMD until 01 April 2026?" Outside of Vanguard taking back the check and treating it as if the check was never issued, which they said they will not do, nothing can undo the distribution of this RMD. Only the amount necessary to avoid a tax underpayment penalty needs to be made as an estimated tax payment by January 15, 2026. Given that you worked all of 2025, 100% (or 110%) of your 2024 tax liability could be the safe harbor needed to limit the amount of the estimated tax payment. The remainder of your 2025 tax liability is due by April 15, 2026.

Just run the dependent interview again and change your answers.
If you are the parent who has custody more than half the year, answer that the child lived with you more than half the year (pick 7 months or more), that there is a custody agreement, and you will give the non-custodial parent a signed form 8332. You will be eligible for certain benefits that belong to the parent who had majority physical custody that can't be shared or transferred.
If you are the parent who has custody less than half the year, answer that the child lived with you less than half the year (pick 5 months or less), that there is a custody agreement, and you will receive a signed form 8332 from the custodial parent. You will be eligible for the child tax credit but not the other benefits that stay with the custodial parent. You will also have to mail the original signed from 8332 after you file.

It sounds like someone else has put in a typo in their personal information an accidentally typed in your email address or phone number. Or, your password was compromised. Intuit has not announced any breaches (they are required by law) so it may be that if you use the same password on more than one web site, some other site may have been compromised.
Start by changing your password.
If you still get access requests from 2-factor, you can try calling customer support and asking specifically for the security team.

If you are classified as "exempt" (meaning you are a supervisor who is exempt from the Fair Labor Standards Act) then your overtime is not eligible for the deduction. Your overtime is provided as a company benefit or a contract benefit but is not required by FLSA, therefore it is not eligible the way the law is written.

Yes you can list unreimbursed dental expenses as deductible medical expenses. Whether you get an actual tax benefit depends on your total income, medical expenses, and other itemized deductions.

To compare scenarios you would have to make two separate test returns. You can make additional online accounts with the same e-mail as long as they have different user names and passwords. Remember that when filing separately, both spouses must use the standard deduction or both spouses must itemize, even if there are not enough itemized deductions to go around.
Usually the reason your refund appears to drop is due to the assumptions built in to the W-4 withholding system. If your W-4 assumes that you are the only spouse who is working, you will not have enough tax taken out.
Remember that withholding is only an estimate of the tax you owe, your tax is calculated on your return only. A large refund just means that you had too much taken out of your paychecks and didn't have it to spend during the year. In most cases, separate filing will cause you to pay more tax because many deductions and credits are reduced or not allowed when filing separately.
