if you have already filed, you'll need to file an amended return if the income was not included. if you haven't filed, you'll need to include the income in your return. File ASAP because, if you owe, late payment penalties and interest will continue to accrue for an amended return and, in addition, late filing penalties if you owe but have not yet filed.

You got there in the end. The parent-employer (in this case, the parent's LLC) does not have to withhold social security and medicare tax, does not have to pay the employer matching half of social security and Medicare, and does not have to pay federal unemployment insurance tax.
But the employee always has to pay income tax.

We at Intuit TurboTax want our users to be completely delighted with their experience using our products and services, and successful in their financial lives and businesses.
Once you file your return, as long as the settings to receive communication from Intuit don’t block it, you will see a pop-up message or receive an email with a survey asking you about your experience. We encourage you to leave your notes and comments there. “Voice of the Customer” notes and comments are read and acted upon.
If you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can also leave feedback at the Final Steps tab:

I checked all of that already except for the third party. I chose to deduct fees from my federal refund, but the IRS website said it was deposited already. I have called the IRS and my personal bank. The IRS confirmed it was sent both on the website and over the phone. My personal bank confirmed it has not seen a deposit. Who is the third party if it isn’t TT? Thanks.

A 1099 can't be e-filed without a correct tax ID number (SSN or EIN) but one could be filed by mail if an appropriate explanation was attached.
More importantly, if you perform work for someone and they pay you, you are required to report your income and pay the correct tax, regardless of whether they issue a 1099. If you planned to work "under the table" and now they are issuing a 1099, that's just following the law.
You should have already reported this income on your tax return, even without the 1099. If they issue a 1099 late, the IRS may eventually send you a letter asking about the income, and you would reply that you already included it in your taxable income without the 1099.

Your refund is not being issued or controlled by TurboTax. TurboTax only gave you an estimated date for your refund to be issued, based on the 21-day average processing time. Only the IRS is in control.
Federal and state refunds come from completely separate entities. There is no rule as to which one will come in first or how long it will be between their arrival in your account.
TurboTax gives you an estimated date for receiving your refund based on a 21 day average from your date of acceptance, but it can take longer. “21 days” is not a promise from TurboTax or the IRS.
First, check your e-file status to see if your return was accepted:
https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/
Once your federal return has been accepted by the IRS, only the IRS has any control. TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:

To track your state refund:

I eFiled on March 25th. In the TurboTax app my refund is STILL estimated April 15th. I have called the IRS and my personal bank and verified the correct information, but my return has not been sent to my bank from TurboTax. Why am I still waiting? I have checked every other side of my refund to make sure it is TurboTax that I am waiting on.

I received a K-1 after filing my taxes (and after the 3/15 date that it should have been received) so I need to amend my return. I also found that one of my imports skipped an account so there were modifications to a 1099. I finally got through amending, so I have my new 1040, my filed 1040, and my 1040X (in the file with the new 1040). Line 6 on 1040X contains the tax value on line 16 of the filed 1040 in column A. Column C contains the value on line 18 of the new 1040, so the 1040X is having me pay AGAIN the value on line 17. The IRS instructions at https://www.irs.gov/instructions/i1040x say to use the value from Schedule 2 line 3, and that is NOT the value given. Interestingly, it also has QDCGTW as the method used to calculate the tax. That value is line 17 of the new 1040. Why is column A using line 16 while column C uses line 18? Thanks for your assistance.

I am totally confused.... I received notice that my refund had been sent on April 15, 2025. However, I have not received it, have no knowledge of who Green Dot Bank is and can not get any information from them. I have never experienced this in all the years we have done business. What's up with that.
