Figured out why this was occurring.  I made a mistake on my 2023 Form 8086.  Line 4 was zero when it should have been $8000.  I forgot to enter my contribution for 2023 that was made between 1/1/2024 and 4/15/2024.       So I adjusted my basis for my traditional IRA in my 2024 return and added an explanation that this was due to an error in 2023 Form 8086.  In the Turbotax Home & Business edition that I'm using, when you see the prompt asking you about the basis for your traditional IRA, there is an "Easy Guide to determine your basis" -- click on this and then make the adjustment.  Once TT sees the adjustment, it will prompt you to "prepare and explanation" for the adjustment.   Once I entered my new basis of $8000 (instead of zero), Line 4b went to zero and my Backdoor Roth conversion was no longer considered "taxable".
I was experimenting but now I can't get it off my return and I don't know the impact to my e-file return...

The only notice I received from turbo tax is a thank you for your payment, and which account my refunds will be deposited in. I haven't been able to sign anything. I cannot get a code sent to my email for my signature. I have been trying since 1pm 4/14/25. What do I do now?
You need to log back in to your account and return to your tax return.  Finish your return and file.

I got the same "Turbotax desktop $45 premium service fee applies" message on the "How would you like to Pay" screen just before eFiling. Nothing on the Turbotax screen explained it, so I had to look it up in Google to find out that it was showing because the "How would you like to Pay" window defaults to "Pay with Federal Refund" for my State eFiling fee. There was NO message on the Turbotax screen that said paying with a credit card would avoid this $45 fee. Even when clicking on the "Pay with credit card" button, the $45 message did not go away. It wasn't until I had entered all my credit card information that I could see the amount to be billed on my card did not include this $45 Premium fee. TurboTax should have a clear message on the "How Would You Like To Pay" screen to explain to users the $45 fee only applies to paying from your Federal refund, and the screen should immediately remove the "$45 Turbotax Premium Service applies" message when the user highlights the "Pay with credit card" button.

I have the same problem. We have two W2s with $0 amount in Box 1 but Box 3-6 have numbers. Also, Box 12 code is II (Medicaid waiver payments ...) with Box 12 amount same as Box 3. It's very confusing.  Since I have other W2s, I am tempted to delete W2s with $0 in Box 1 and file my return. Would appreciate any comment/feedback.

Thank you for your answer.   The Wages and Tips box is pre-filled out with my gross income for 2024. The box I'm having an issue with is the "Taxable Interest Income" on this screen.  For reference, this is what I see: Do I have to calculate a specific number (for example, go back through my paystubs and see how much was withheld while I lived in Yonkers) or just enter the amount listed on my W2 under local income tax? This is the only thing stopping me from filing my taxes. Thank you so much!
