https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-loan   However, the Flex loan program has been temporarily paused.
A review of TurboTax's 1099-R Summary page might provide a clue.
The only way to do it is in the "Explanation Statement" reason for filing: "Changing dependent status to: dependent"   This changes his standard deduction, so tax may change.   @actuning7

In MY INFO he needs to change the way he answered the interview question that asked if someone else can claim him as a dependent.   If his incorrect answer prevented you from e-filing your own return, you will need to print, sign and date your own return in ink and mail it in  since e-filing is now permanently closed for 2024 returns.
Keep checking. No one here can tell you when the program will again be available.

Losses are subtracted from gains.  Any losses remaining offset regular income to a maximum of $3,000 with any remaining carried over to subsequent years until used up.

Just got a letter from IRS.  Says I claimed AOTC for more than 4 years.  Went back and checked and yes, 2024 would make 5.  I have used TTax for the last 20 years.  Why would TTax not know that this was year 5?  Now I need to amend the return and not sure how to remove that credit.  Any advice is appreciated.

@gigi0480 "Printed" means you did not e-file and your return did not go to the IRS unless you put that return in an envelope and took it to a mailbox yourself.    E-filing is closed permanently for 2024 returns, so the only way you can file it now is by mail.  You will need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and mail it in.   If you owe tax due, expect a bill later from the IRS for the late filing penalties and interest owed, which began to accrue after the filing deadline.       When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.   Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses.  Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.

DID YOU E-FILE?   Did you e-file?   Did you go through all three steps of the FILE section and click a big orange button that said “Transmit my returns now?”     When you e-file your return you will get two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say your return has been transmitted; the second one will tell you the IRS has accepted  or rejected your federal e-file.  If you filed a state return, there will be a third email (usually a day or two later) that tells you if the state e-file was accepted or rejected.   Check your e-file status:   https://turbotax.intuit.com/tax-tools/efile-status-lookup/    What does it say in your account?  Does it show that the return was accepted?   Or does it say something else---like "rejected," "printed," or "ready to mail?”   If you discover or realize that your e-file was rejected, you will need to print it, sign and date it in ink, and file it by mail now, since e-filing is closed for returns for tax year 2024.
I filed through turbo tax in March along with an extension plus payment. I attempted to file an amended return in October and they are saying that they have no record of my initial filing. What do I do?

I NEED A COPY OF MY W-2  (or 1099)      W-2's come from employers.  There is not a federal or national website that provides W-2’s.     TurboTax does not have a copy of your W-2—the Wage & Tax Statement—issued to you by your employer, (nor does TurboTax have copies of your 1099’s).   Whether you entered your W-2 by keying it in yourself, importing from a payroll site or by snapping a photo using the mobile app—-TT does not have a copy of your W-2.  If you saved a pdf of your completed tax return, the worksheets will show the W-2 information you entered, but not the actual W-2.      You should always save those documents for your own records. You could ask the employer(s) for copies or you can get a copy from Social Security (for a fee of $62).   To get a copy of a W-2 from Social Security https://faq.ssa.gov/en-us/Topic/article/KA-02501   https://www.irs.gov/help-resources/tools-faqs/faqs-for-individuals/frequently-asked-tax-questions-answers/irs-procedures/transcript-or-copy-of-form-w-2/transcript-or-copy-of-form-w-2     You can get a wage and income transcript from the IRS:  It will not show the actual W-2, 1099’s, etc, but will show the income information the IRS received.  It will not, however, show your state information. It will only show the federal information. https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript   Or you can pay the IRS $30 for an actual copy of your tax return which will include copies of your W-2’s      https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf      https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/tax-forms/get-copy-w-2/L8FTim9MO_US_en_US?uid=m68ee4os
