@tmmoore800 Curious how long it took for MO to take the amount you owed from your bank account after filing? I opted for the same but no money has been deducted from my bank account yet.

I have this exact issue. Turbotax support hasn’t been able to help me after spending an hour and a half on the phone. It really seems to be an account issue since I similarly tried a PC, a Mac, an iPhone, and with various browsers. Were you ever able to find a resolution? Really appreciate any insight.

To file Form 6781, enter the aggregate profit or loss Line 11 in the box provided. Unless you are a professional trader, that's all you do. Do not check any option boxes.

Before I upgrade, can you please confirm they can make the edit so I don't have to download desktop? Others are saying they can't correct it themselves in the online version.

even though TurboTax knows the self-select PIN you chose last time, as far as i can tell, it never gives you the option to e-File with that PIN instead of last year's AGI. Strange. Try AGI of "0.00"...

Does that mean you can't find your 2024 return you prepared and filed? Are you using Online TurboTax or desktop software? If you efiled, has your efiled return been accepted? Please describe what you are experiencing.

How did you do it Online through Turbo Tax? Turbo Tax only transmits your bank info to the IRS for the IRS to pull it out of your account when you efile your return. If you mailed your return the IRS might not get your payment. Was you bank info showing on your mailed return? Did you enter your credit card? You may have only paid the Turbo Tax fees. If your payment didn’t go through Pay the IRS directly at Https://www.irs.gov/payments

Just wanted to give a heads up, this question needs revised in case filing joint with spouse. I recommend it asks if the co-owner is the spouse and verifies the filing status. Otherwise if you input 50%, it may cut your credit in half. Someone asked this question in March of 2020 and an expert answered "If you and your spouse jointly own the home, you can say yes. ", however I noticed it was reducing the credit we should be receiving. Until TurboTax fixes the question for MCC, "Did anyone else own this home with you?", if you are married filing jointly and both spouses are on the deed, you will have to answer "No" to avoid needlessly reducing the credit you should be receiving. Below is the snippet from the IRS stating interest should not be split if filing joint with spouse. Publication 530 If two or more persons (other than a married couple filing a joint return) hold an interest in the home to which the MCC relates, the credit must be divided based on the interest held by each person.

What was the reject code? The most common reject is for the AGI. Even if you entered it right Try entering 0 for the AGI. The IRS might have processed your return later so the AGI didn't get entered in time. Especially if you mailed it. That works for most people. See, https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/rejections/help/what-if-i-entered-the-correct-agi-and-i-m-still-getting-an-e-file-reject/00/27031 How to correct the AGI in the Online version https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/where-do-i-correct-my-agi-in-turbotax-online/00/26311 If you can’t get it to efile you will have to print and mail it. https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/printing/help/how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online/00/26258 Be sure to attach copies of your W2s and any 1099s that have withholding on them. You have to mail federal and state in separate envelopes because they go to different places. Get a tracking number from the post office when you mail them for proof of filing.
