Thanks @DaveF1006 for quick reply. This is how its currently looking at on schedule CA Considering my RSU income is 100K Adjustment amount : 40k Income based on Work day : 60K On CA 540NR values comes like this. At Col A : 100K (RSU income) At Col C : 40K (adjustment) At Col D : 100K (RSU income) At Col E : 60K (CA work-day income is) It is calculating tax on 140K, adding column C and D but my RSU income is 100K. How do I make CA calculate on actual rsu income only of 100K. Or it is correct to calculate it at (adjustment +RSU income)

I am using Turbotax deluxe desktop version on Windows laptop with edge browser. I am having trouble importing the tax forms from Merill again this year. first off all the Merill edge option is not showing in the options list. when I try to use Bank of America login and authenticate getting the below error You can ask Bank of America if you'll get tax forms this year, and return to import when they're available. If you already have the info, you can enter it by hand. (902) Anyone else facing this issue?

Yes, if you use the Three-year Rule Method, your pension is not reported as taxable income until the payments you receive from the plan equal the amount you contributed. Once you have received an amount equal to your contributions, all payments from the pension plan are fully taxable.
NOTE: If you are 62 or older, you, you may also be able to exclude up to $100,000 of your pension income if your income is under $150,000 under the new exclusion. See Retirement Income Exclusions.

This simply means that I find a functional alternative to T-Tax next year . Deleting functionality with minimal notice is poor marketing. Good bye.

I'm on website version and am still waiting for this form to be available so I can complete the depreciation and amortization portion of my rental real estate. It's a bit worrisome that Turbo tax is allowing me to complete and file even with this part completely missing, losing out on large sum of deduction.

I'm entering a 1099-Q form with numbers in the gross distribution, earnings and basis fields. The numbers are from my 1099-Q and add up: earnings and basis = gross distribution but the error message says the numbers don't add up. Can you help with this bug? I've re-entered the numbers at least 4 times.

I have now spoken to two "experts" who couldn't work this out. One actually hung up on me while I was on hold and assuming they couldn't hear me told my husband they didnt even know what a backdoor roth was. Which she didnt, i explained it to her abd pointed out where the mistake was in the 8606 form. She then tried to give me the instructions for a roth to traditional conversion OR i could pay someone to do it for me!! Anyway after 2 hours with the "experts" Im going to switch to H&R block. Ive used TurboTax for over 10 years but this is ridiculous

If you've already filed, and you entered the wrong EIN for your school when entering your 1098-T in TurboTax, if your return is Rejected, you can correct it. It may not be an issue, as it's the Box 1 and Box 5 amounts that determine your credit (which isn't coming from the school).
