Pushed to end of the week - many threads on this - see   https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/re-form-4562-when-will-it-be-ready/01/3777969#M1404128

I saw the Blue Circle at one point.  Now I don't see it any more.  And I can't log out.   If fact, I was away from my PC for a few hours; and when I come back, I thought I would be timed out and have to log in again.  But I wasn't timed out.  Does this web site time out INACTIVE users?  If yes, when?   PS.  If I refresh the screen, I see something flashing under "Sign In", but can't really see what it is.   Also, as I am typing now, I see on the upper right corner "Sign in to TurboTax"  and under it , "Sign In" with a lock.  Since I am posting questions/replies, it would mean I am already signed in.  So why am I still seeing these Sign In buttons -- and NO Blue Circle to log out?

@amand  asked:  "How do i know if something is wrong with my taxes or not it still hasnt changed the status since it was accepted"   By "it still hasn't changed" what is the "it?" Are you referring to the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool, which is what you should be going by? https://www.irs.gov/wheres-my-refund   If that tool shows it's been processing for longer than 21 days since it was accepted, you could phone the IRS to ask about it.  They may or may not be able to tell you anything yet.  Some returns require extra processing for various reasons; sometimes ID verification, etc. or other additional information.  Sometimes they perform more processing on a random basis.   However, this time of year there is a common delay for any return that has EIC or ACTC tax credits.   Because of the PATH Act, the IRS has to wait until after February 15 to begin issuing refunds for folks who had those tax credits in their returns.   So the IRS this week will finally begin issuing refunds for those situations.   As a result, filers with those types of credits may not see their Federal refund until late February or early March.
can you tell me what goes in the category box
It is now Feb 15th so Feb 13th has passed, and the section is still not available. Do we have any updates on when (for real) it will be available?

I see from reading post on intuit turbotax forums  (https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/forums/)  that people in Canada can download and install Turbotax 2025 for Canada  but the USA turbotax users can't.      I thought it was all about Windows 10 not being secure, yet its secure enough for Canadians and other tax software companies.      I smell a RAT.

If the code in box 7 is G, TurboTax automatically treats it as a rollover.

We don't know if you are owed back pay for any year.   That is something for you to work out with your employer. It certainly would be worth asking the question. From a tax point of view.  You should not have to change the 2025 tax return that you filed in 2026. If you were paid back pay this year (2026) for work you did this year (2026) it will go on your tax return next year (filed in 2027).. The IRS taxes income in the year it is received. Payments paid in 2026 for work done in 2025 is also reported on your 2026 tax return (filed in 2027.

I have always filed my taxes on TurboTax and have been very happy with the free and easy use of services. This time around, despite me turning down every offer that popped up (way too frequently, mind you) and supposedly doing the free service like I’ve always done, at the end of my filing TurboTax says I owe over $100 before I continue. Why? I didn’t buy anything from you and was not informed at any point during the process that I was using any services that required additional payment.
Thanks for clarifying the transfer.   CS

@bandycnslt    Yeah...the $$ amounts in your breakdown, have to equal box 12.. BUT You don't calculate and enter every state. For most folks, you just enter the amounts for your state, and any US Territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands)....and the remaining $$ is just one number for "Multiple States"   Those $$ entered must add up to your box 12 amount
