I have been the Personal Care Attendant for my partner since 2019. She lives in my home and is disabled receiving SSDI. She qualifies for CADI waivere under Medicaid in Minnesota. I was not aware that this income could be tax exempt until just now. Can I file these amended returns in Turbo Tax? How far back can I go? What documentation is needed?

You have to apply in advance, so you can exclude future income. See Live-in provider self-certification
If you received income from the In-Home Support Services (IHSS) program for providing care to someone you live with, you have the option to include or exclude all or none of that income as earned income on your tax return. This may allow you to qualify for CalEITC and other tax credits.
You have the option to self-certify your living arrangements to exclude IHSS/WPCS wages from FIT and SIT by sending the Live-In Self-Certification Form (SOC 2298). All requested information on the form must be provided and the form must include your signature and the date you signed the form.

There is a similar process for Minnesota. You can apply here.

Thank you so much! So, is there any way to amend past tax returns including the one I just sent for 2024 income?
Sorry, one more question - I live in Minnesota and the specific program my partner is on is called MA-EPD and is a CADI waiver program. Does this advice still apply to me even though the self-certification form is for California?
Form SOC 2298 is specifically for CA.
Thanks - is there a similar process for Minnesota or is it best if I consult with a tax expert to amend prior years on my behalf?

The self-certifying has nothing to do with amending returns. That is just to certify with the payer for future paycheck.
Yes, you can amend prior years to correct your tax returns. But most likely tax years 2021 and earlier are past the date you can get refunds.
