Hi - I am an international student studying in Washington State, and I used Turbo Tax to file my taxes. However, after getting my return back, I found out that I was not supposed to use Turbo Tax since I am not a legal resident and I have been here in the US for less than 5 years. What should I do to amend these mistakes? or who should I contact to fix this situation? I would kindly appreciate your help.

You will need to complete a form 1040NR and file (print/mail) along with a 1040X to amend your original 1040 return. You are correct TurboTax does not support 1040NR and we recommend our partners at Sprintax to assist with this experience.
Thank you for your response! Besides those two forms that you mentioned, do I have to file any other forms? I've read that I also have to file the form 8843.
Form 8843 is to exclude days of presence in the US. This would be a question best answered by Sprintax.com as TurboTax does not support the NRA forms.
