How do I view my old state filings from 2019 and 2020? I can download it but it won’t let me view it.

I can go and download them but it’s a .txt file and I’m not sure how to open that.

The tax data files can only be opened by the TurboTax software for the year of the data file. Download the PDF of the tax returns so you can view the return with any compatible PDF viewer, such as Adobe Acrobat.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

I’ve seen that answer before but how do I access this software? It is not available from the TurboTax website since it is over 3 years old. Can you please provide me a link to somewhere I can purchase this?

TurboTax does not support tax years prior to 2021 so the software for 2019 and 2020 is no longer available through TurboTax. Nor would you be able to use the TurboTax software obtained through other sources for those tax years since the license code for those years has also expired.
