Question

How can I print my state (Missouri) tax return? When I view my documents they say they are NOT FINAL and DO NOT FILE. It is now 2/24 and I need to pay the bill. Help :(

Can I just pay it without the final voucher? If so, how?

The IRS also does not have all of the forms finalized and ready for filing yet. Please read the TurboTax FAQ below for IRS Forms Availability Table for TurboTax Individual (Personal) Tax Products. Similarly, your Missouri state forms may not be finalized.

Thank you.  When I look at the form MO 1040V, Individual Payment Voucher, it states Available (for Print) and Unsupported (for Online).  But when I go to print my form it says it is not final, but based upon those links it appears to be so.

Why does DO NOT FILE, FORM NOT FINAL appear on my printouts?

The message DO NOT FILE or DO NOT FILE, FORM NOT FINAL will appear on your printout if:

  • The print version of the tax form hasn't yet been finalized in TurboTax.
  • Your federal return was printed before e-filing.
  • Your state return was printed before your federal return was accepted by the IRS.
  • The form is available but you haven't downloaded the latest update.
