Yes, you can get a copy of your tax transcript from the IRS website. Order your transcript, Click on this link- IRS Get Transcript, or by calling them toll-free at 1-800-908-9946. Transcripts are available for the current and past three tax years.

If you have filed with Turbotax & want a copy of your tax return, please follow these instructions below: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301525

You can get a copy of your tax transcript.... MAYBE

SUMMARY: I enter my data and it logs me out "for security reasons"

DETAILS: I used this service a few years back so I already had a logon. However, it is telling me I have to re-register. I enter a bunch of data, get a confirmation code emailed to me, hit "submit" (or whatever) and then I get a screen saying "For security reasons, we've logged you out."

So I can't get either site to work

    ---

Tried another browser, got in... asked for my cell phone number to 'verify my identity' but it would not accept it.

    Try incognito or another device.

I used an incognito session in my browser and that error message went away, creating a new account worked.

The 2018 AGI is on the 2018 Federal tax return you filed Form 1040 Line 7

    https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/agi/help/how-do-i-find-last-year-s-agi/01/25947

To access your current or prior year tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the userID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on View adjusted gross income (AGI)

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

If your tax return continues to be rejected with the 2018 AGI then enter a 0 (zero) for the AGI and e-file again.

If this is also rejected then you will have to print and mail the tax return.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for printing a tax return for mailing - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/printing/help/how-do-i-print-and-mail-my-return-in-turbotax-online...

A "transcript" refers to a specific type of document that contains the numbers from your prior returns, but not the lines and boxes and shading. Often, this is all you need - and it's free.

As noted above, you can get a transcript at this IRS webpage Get Transcript.

Note that transcripts by mail are not available at the moment because of the ongoing situation. But you may be able to get your transcripts online.

Be sure to look at the transcript types to see which one you want and also to indicate the right year. For example. for tax year 2017, you want the transcript for the year ending 12/32/2017.

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

See this TurboTax support FAQ for accessing prior year online tax returns - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/prior-year-return/help/how-do-i-access-my-prior-year-return/01/270...

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Or go to this IRS website for free federal tax return transcripts - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/get-transcript

For a fee of $50 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf
