I am not sure how to say this, but I am upset and very much disappointed with Turbo Tax on their ability to allow users to use previously installed versions of their application on their computers. I just tried to access already installed version installed version of Tubo Tax 2022 on my laptop to find that in order for me to see my 2022 already filed taxes and information, they then required me to first find my license code from that year's installation.  STOP making us, already owners of your freaking application go through so many hoops in order to get to what we already not only paid for, but also spent hours and hours doing in order to file our taxes. It is not fair to make an owner and years over years user go through so many hoops to simply access what we have worked for and filed to simply view our old information. How many of your users simply give up because they threw in the garbage the information that you are only two years after filing asking for. I am upset...and thinking that there has to be a better way to file my taxes that thinks about me, the user, the payer, more important than some other crap your inefficient software is making go through idiotic hoops go through in order to access my own information. STOP this crap now! Before we all just say Turbo Tax is a piece of crap!

I have lots of my old programs still installed and can open my returns.

    Hope this helps……

Make sure your computer is the same way when you originally installed it.  Like with no flash drives plugged in or plugged in if one was.  It asked me to activate again so I just closed the program and took out a flash drive that was plugged in and tried again.  It worked.  Or you may need to connect a flash drive or printer or something that was connected when you originally installed the program.  One person found to disable his virus scanner and firewall first and then it opened.

Have you been saving your returns as pdf's every year?   You should be doing that ----then you can open them and see them/print them easily.

    SAVE YOUR TAX RETURNS !

EVERY year before mid-October you should save a copy of your tax return as a pdf and print a copy of it for your records.  That way you will not be searching online frantically when you need it for a lender, FAFSA forms, your next tax return, etc.

NOTE:  TurboTax and the IRS save returns for seven years.  Returns older than seven years are purged.
