For the Recovery Rebate credit on a 2020 tax return the deadline is May 17, 2024

For the Recovery Rebate credit on a 2021 tax return the deadline is April 15, 2025

There was not a Recovery Rebate Credit in 2022. It was only available for 2020 and 2021.

As far as how long it will take to get the potential refund back, assuming your return was mailed in, it could take up to 4 weeks to be able to track your refund on the IRS website. Please see this link for additional information on how you can track your refund.
