Install on Dell Windows 10 - cannot see Activation screen - comes up as blank.

      @NCperson 

       

      Any hints here?  Did TTX/Windows ever Fix that problem with installing on the most recent Windows version?

      I see Windows just released a new cumulative update in the past couple days...make sure that is fully installed & rebooted first, then try again.

      Purchase Turbotax from costco canada - standard online version.  Unable to enter activation code on desktop

      @53cb do yuou have a new computer? if so, change the resolution temporarily to 800x600, launch and activate turbo tax and then return the resolution to its original setting

      The blank activation issue does not seem like it is fix. I just purchase TurboTax Deluxe and am having blank screen when I try to activate. Please advise

        I was having this activation issue and found that  Microsoft Edge is the culprit.

        Make sure your default browser is Chrome or Internet Explorer instead of Edge and this will resolve the activation issue.

          I use Chrome as well, but my default browser was the issue which was Edge and once I changed the default to Chrome it worked.

          I have a new computer and had a computer store transfer my programs & files. I cannot access TurboTax 2020 on my new computer.

          You can't transfer programs.  They have to be installed on the new computer.  Do you have the Turbo Tax CD or buy the download?

          Does anyone know if Turbo Tax has resolved this issue?  I have a new computer and am getting the blank activation screen when attempting to reinstall 2019 version.

          Another user posted this fix.  See if it works for you -

           

          • change your resolution to 800 x 600 (start>setting >system resolution. once it's been changed, your screen size will look very big. REMEMBER your initial resolution setting!
          • launch TT and the activation screen should launch.  copy / paste in your activation code. you should get the 'all set' green check mark
          • change your resolution back to what is was originally.

          Changing screen resolution to lowest setting allowed me to activate. You can then change the resolution back to original setting
