HSA, FORM 5498-SA, for 2024 tax return

My daughter received form 5498-SA, with an amount in Box 2, and an amount on Box 5.

How do I report this, and where do I report it. I'm using Turbo Tax for 2024 Tax return.

You do not enter form 5498-SA on your tax return. It is for information only.

I don't usually receive my 5498-SA until May, well after I've filed my taxes for the year. The information on this form does not go on your tax return. It is just for your records. It does show the contributions made during the year and previous years which might be helpful in determining that she didn't make excess contributions. However, that information should also be on her W-2 form. The form you need for filing your income tax is the 1099-SA. This is entered in Turbotax under "Less Common Income"
