No, you don't need to enter Form 5498-SA into TurboTax.

The 5498-SA reports contributions to:

  • Health Savings Accounts (HSA)

  • Archer Medical Savings Accounts (MSA)

  • Medicare Advantage Medical Savings Accounts

What if I contributed to my Health Savings Account or Medical Savings Account separately from company contributions?

If you contributed to one of these accounts separately from company contributions, follow these steps for TurboTax Online:

  1. Go to the Tell us about the health-related accounts you had in 2025 screen under Income in the Federal section.

  2. Select your type of account(s), select Continue, and proceed to answer the questions that follow, which are based on your situation.
