To report your 1099-G that you received for paid FMLA, you need to input your form on your federal return.

    1. Open your return
    2. Go to 1099-G
    3. On the Did you or Spouse receive unemployment or paid family leave benefits? screen, answer Yes
    4. Follow the instructions to enter your 1099-G information

When you start your Connecticut return, TurboTax will ask you the necessary questions.  These payments are taxable on the state return and the program will calculate the tax due.

What is paid family leave (PFL)?

Where do I report a 1099-G for unemployment or paid family leave?
