You'll need to be more specific. What state? Are you asking about property tax or School district income tax withheld?
If Ohio, TurboTax (TT) does not automatically prepare a School District return (form SD100), you must initiate it.
At the screen, in the Ohio program, titled "A few things before we wrap up your state taxes"
scroll down to School District taxes.
Or later at the screen "Your 2024 Ohio Taxes are ready for us to check"
-Click Other situations
-Scroll down to School District taxes.
Usually the School District Income Tax (SDIT) return is e-filed with the state return, but there are exceptions. Read the Ohio 'filing instructions" that TurboTax prepares, They will tell you if the SD100 was e-filed or if you have to mail it.
SDIT withholding is usually shown in box 19 of your W-2. Entering it at the W-2 screen usually gets it to form SD100.
I paid quarterly taxes for the 2024 year, but those taxes are not listed on my school district taxes. How do I enter them?
I have the withheld taxes from the W-2, but not the quarterly payments made for the 2024 taxes.
If you paid estimated taxes, go to estimated taxes to make your payment. We'll make sure you get credit for the estimated taxes you paid for 2024.
Where do I enter my estimated tax payments? @bharrisn
In TurboTax (TT), enter at:
Federal Taxes Tab (Personal for H&B version)
Deductions & Credits
-Scroll down to:
--Estimates & other taxes paid
-Estimates
- On the next screen choose Local estimated taxes for 2024
-on the next screen click YES
-on the next screen, on the locality pull down list, scroll down to School District tax, OH
