What supporting documents (expense records and receipts) do you have to have to claim educational credits for your child in college?

The Official Document you should receive is a 1098-T.

There are a couple of totals you will be asked for like books. Keep and store your receipts and records.

Note: You child is considered living at home during the months the child is away for school.
