I have entered my daughter's 1098-T into the Turbotax form.
We can claim her as a dependent.
Her 1098 shows expenses significantly higher than the amount of the scholarship.
Our income falls within the income limit.
I have imported the 1098-T.
Turbotax indicates that the expenses aren't higher than the scholarship which isn't true.

Q. What am I doing wrong?
A. We can't see your return and you haven't provided enough info.
That said, my guess is the import failed. Delete it and enter the 1098-T manually. The 1098-T goes on your return, not the student's.
