Student loan payment 1099-INT

I have two student loan payment forms and both are 1099-INT forms. Do I enter this under income or in the space for 1098-E? I do have an EIN for both PRIVATE student loan lenders. But interest payments are under $600 so I am assuming they are 1099-INT not 1098-Es. Any advice would be appreciated.

Student loan payment 1099-INT

Enter form 1099-INT in the income section, then enter the total student loan interest that you paid in the Student Loan Interest section (you should call your lender and ask for that amount); TurboTax will ask you for the name of Lender and the amount of interest you paid (no EIN is needed).

Form 1099-INT represents interest that you earned on your account; your student loan must have qualified for some borrower benefit program and have earned some benefit dollars. The interest that you paid is deducted from the interest that you earned, and the final result is listed on your 1099-INT forms.  It does not list the interest that you paid, and most likely they won't send you 1098-E - that's why I'm recommending that you call the Lender and ask for the amount (or log into your account if you can).
