my wife attended Sierra College Community Education. Tuition was 2399. The course is required to get a Medical Assistant certificate, which is required to gwt a job as a medical assistant. The college does not issue 1099-t for certificate programs. Can we still get the tuition credits?

Yes, you can enter your education expenses that may be eligible for the credits if Sierra College if the school receives Federal Student Aid (see list). Not all education institutions will issue a 1098-T.
If your institution is not required to send a 1098-T, indicate that you qualify for an exception (see attachment). Then continue to enter the details of your school and expenses.
