Schedule 1
When I go to e file with Turbo Tax it says: Schedule 1:_this form has not been finalized at this time. We are working to get forms ready for filing in Wisconsin. Please check again later.
I just wanted to find out a time frame when this will be ready?

Schedule 1
If you are referring to the federal tax form Schedule 1, it is available. If it is for the tax forms for Wisconsin, not all of them are available. TurboTax is still working on them

Schedule 1
I cannot find Schedule 1 for entry of "Other Income" Last year that appeared on Schedule 1, Line 21.
I worked as an election inspector for the city clerk, my income was $58.
Where to enter that information in 2019 Turbo Tax

Schedule 1
But, the form is NOT found in the Income section walk-through.
If it's "available" in all versions of Turbo Tax, where do I find it, exactly?

Schedule 1
That type of income would go to line 8 of Schedule 1.
Here is how to enter it in Turbo Tax:
- Log in and continue your return.
- Click on Income & Expenses in the upper left corner.
- At the bottom of the list you will see, Less Common Income. If you don't see that at first, click on See a list of all income at the bottom of the list.
- Click Show more on the right.
- At the very bottom, click Start or Revisit next to Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C.
- At the bottom of the next list, select Other reportable income.
- Answer the next question, Yes.
- Enter a description and the amount.

Schedule 1
Thank you for your step-by-step. It got me out of the rabbit hole into which the software led me.
I have used Turbo Tax for some years just to avoid the kind of dilemma I encountered. Yet I did, though last year, I hadn't.
My first attempt to account for that income led me to another place where TT would not accept the entry unless I had completed and already submitted an SSA form of some sort. All for $58.00!!!

Schedule 1
So the Schedule 1 Form that everyone is waiting on will be uploaded to Turbo Tax on Feb. 6th? Any chance it would be before that? Would we get notified of it? Can we file our federal and wait for this for our state until then?

Schedule 1
The federal Schedule 1 is available and has been for some time. There are similar sounding state tax forms, such as Schedule M1NC and Wisconsin Form 1, that are not yet available.
Turbo Tax updates their programs as quickly as possible, but many tax agencies have not finalized all of their forms.
If you are getting a message about a form that is not available:

Schedule 1
Technically, yes. You could file the federal while you were waiting on the state.
Please keep checking the availability of the state forms for your state.
If the Schedule 1 you are referring to is Federal, then you should wait until it is available. Otherwise, you would have to amend your return once the form was available.

Schedule 1
@Bschaffer1724 Probably after 6 February.
WI made a LATE January change to the Schedule I, in spite of anyone's expectations, changing the software to correctly integrate the changes, for ANY software provider, can take a couple weeks after the state releases the final form.
