No. 5 is the limit.
THANK YOU. DO YOU KNOW IF THERE IS ANY OTHER PRODUCT THAT TURBO TAX SELLS THAT WOULD PERMIT ME TO TRANSMIT MORE THAN 5 SUBMISSIONS?
To get more than 5 efiles you need to use one of the Intuit Products for Tax Professionals, https://taxpro.intuit.com
And to prepare more than five e-files, you will need to sign up with the IRS as an ERO - an Electronic Returns Originator. How to become an Authorized E-file Provider…..
OKAY, THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME.
@richard777 - understand that the limit of 5 is an IRS rule....it's not TT or its competitors that are setting the rule at 5..... you can always paper file the rest.
I was recently informed that this was not a Turbo Tax issue. It is puzzling to me that the IRS has this policy. You would think that they would endeavor to always make it easier to file and to get your refund if you are entitled to one. I filed some mail in returns for family members because I was over the 5 limit and they have been waiting for months for their refunds. Yes I am aware for the backlogs etc., but this is a problem demanding attention by Government. Hard working people need those refunds.
First the limit was put in place to keep IRS scammers from using the DIY programs to file thousands of fraudulent returns.
For those in your family with easy returns you can always efile using one of the totally free options thru the IRS :

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate your answer.
