529 room and board

Where can I enter 529 distributions used for room & board? Turbo tax used to allow me to enter that but now it is only prompting for books

You can't enter those expenses yet. This is a known glitch in TurboTax (TT). They are working on it (no announced fix date).   The 2025 education and 529 sections appear totally redesigned, from last year.

The experience described here is expected to be resolved in a TurboTax update to be released by February 27th.

I don't see that the update was released on February 27th to deal with the 529 Room and Board issue.  What is Turbo Tax's official stance on this defect in its program?  Time is running out.

It has been fixed. You may need to update.

You need to go back through the education section to force the program to update your return. @beakbarnett
