I am unable to enter my daughter's 1098T tuition expenses on her taxes. The amount already entered is $0 and it said that I entered that earlier. I did not enter it earlier. She had very little income last year so would that cause this?

Did you go to "Deductions & Credits" in the Federal sections and scroll down to "Education"?
(you may need to answer Yes/No questions and/or click "Show all tax breaks" to find it.
I'm having the same issue. Where you enter Education Expenses, Tuition and Enrollment fees indicates $0. Clicking on the link brings up the below:
Tuition and Fee Expenses
This number includes the total amount of tuition and related fee expenses (such as student fees, attendance fees, enrollment fees or assessment fees) that you paid to your school in 2019.
Note: You entered this number in earlier.
Figured it out. Not intuitive when you have to "Edit" the student afterwards...
Could you please explain as I am having the same exact issue.
What do you mean I have to EDIT the student afterwards?
Thank you.
You are correct! This is not logical as you have to enter the Education Expenses then, you need to go back & EDIT each student; then finally go back into Education Expenses & remove Box 5 if you don't, it reports the Scholarship/Grant twice incorrectly.
Thank you for your help. Turbo Tax needs to make this section more user friendly.
