Qualify part time college

I was a half time student 1 semester in 2016, does that make me eligible to claim half time status for taxes?

Turbo Tax will walk you through answering the questions to see how this will apply to your tax situation.  Simply go to the Federal Taxes tab,

Click on Deductions and Credits

If you do not see an Education prompt

Click on All Tax Breaks and See All  

Scroll down to Education, by the gold book icon, and select See More 

Click on Start or Edit next to  the forms you have.
