Hello,
Im currently doing my daughters (25) taxes. She completed her ba online and received a 1098-t. Over the summer of 2021 she had to take 2 summer classes and paid out of pocket for them. One was for same school she graduated and other was for a community college. She had a assocate degree in nursning and just graduated with a Ba. The schools never sent a 1098t for the summer classes/out of pocket expenses she paid. I had put them under the education portion . But i get to work related segment and says education expenses. after reading more info, it says tuition paid and ect. Do i need to put it in that section there or leave it where i previously put it at?
thank you,
Robert

No, you are claiming an Education Credit for her college tuition. Leave the information under education.
Thank you for the quick Reply
After entering the 1098-T for the main school, you will be asked if you attended other schools. Answer yes. When asked about a 1098-T, for the other school(s), answer no but that you qualify for an exception. You'll be given a box to enter the tuition paid.
