My parents have claimed education credits for me but I have never claimed it for myself (form 8863). I am in my 5th year of school as an undergrad. Can I claim it?

If you are a dependent of your parents in any tax year, only your parents can claim your education expenses for that tax year.

You can only claim your education expenses if you cannot be claimed as a dependent by your parents (meaning that you  provided more than half of your own support during the tax year).
