Last year I had to pull out a 13,000 loan for dental implants. Does this qualify under dental work?

Yes, the expense you incurred for dental implants would be tax deductible.  Whether or not you can claim the full amount of your loan depends on what amount was paid during the tax year for your dental work.

If your loan proceeds of $13,000 was paid to your medical provider to pay the bill in full during 2015, then you can claim the full amount in 2015.

Please read the following information for more details about when medical expenses may be deducted and where to enter them in your tax return.
