You will need to override the Education Optimizer selection. Follow the steps in the TurboTax FAQ below to perform the override. Click "See entire answer" for the full page view.

Yes, you could omit your 1098-T from your return as it is only required if you want to receive a deduction or credits for your tuition paid. At the very least, if you are not taking AOC because you want to maximize the credit in another year (smart choice), then select another deduction or credit, if it makes sense, as there is not a lifetime limitation for the Tuition and Fees Deduction or Lifetime Learning Credit.
