We are trying to exit our timeshare. We paid mortgage to the time share company from Jan.-Aug. 2018. To date we don't have a 1098 from the Timeshare company. We have a time share release company. I called them a week ago to ask about the 1098 they advised me to wait a bit longer that it should be in the mail. If I don't receive it, then to contact them. They also advised me to check with my accountant.

If you know the mortgage interest paid, and the balance of the mortgage at the beginning and end of the year, you can enter this without the 1098.

• Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
