Education credit question

I graduated in 2022 and earned $31K for the remaining 6 months due to my job. I have a 1098-T that had qualified tuition expenses of roughly $8K.  I entered the details however I don't see any credit for that. My parents claimed credit the past 3 years however since I am no longer a dependent on their tax return, I was entering this on mine

Education credit question

My screen only says were you a student in 2022  (there's no "as of the end of the year").  Answer yes.  It only make a difference for single people under 24.

You'll be asked your education status again in the education expenses section.

Education credit question

It sounds like you're eligible. You've answered something wrong in the interview.

In the personal info section, make sure you did not indicate that you can be claimed as a dependent. If you are under 24 and indicated that you were a full time student, answer yes to the question about supporting yourself with earned income.

The question was - were you a full time student as of the end of the year and my answer was no. Should that not be the case?
