My screen only says were you a student in 2022 (there's no "as of the end of the year"). Answer yes. It only make a difference for single people under 24.

It sounds like you're eligible. You've answered something wrong in the interview.
In the personal info section, make sure you did not indicate that you can be claimed as a dependent. If you are under 24 and indicated that you were a full time student, answer yes to the question about supporting yourself with earned income.
