If my parents put my college expenses 1098-t on THEIR taxes, do I still put it on mine?
Best answer by

No, you would not put it on your tax return if your parents put your 1098-T and college expenses on their tax return.  However, your parents are only allowed to enter the 1098-T on their return if they are claiming you as a dependent on their return.  If they are claiming you as a dependent then you would not be allowed to put the 1098-T or the educational expenses on your return.
