"Why am I limited on how much income can be distributed from a Trust?"

You may be limited by the trust instrument, but there is no limitation imposed by the software.

If you are trying to distribute capital gains, however, you need to allocate the gains to the beneficiary(ies) and to income in that section of the program (see screenshots).

Why am I limited on how much income can be distributed from a Trust?

I have interest from a Seller Financed mortgage.  When I fill in the information, though, only about half of it is listed as a transfer to the beneficiary.  How do I enter the information so that the program allows me to transfer all of it to me?  Jane

Did you enter the interest as "Interest income on 1099-INT"?
